Appalachian Firsts is excited to announce that our founder, Emily Renzelli, will be speaking at an upcoming event hosted by the WVU Pre-Law Society on March 5, 2026 at 7 pm at the Mountaineer Room of the WVU Mountainlair.
Emily, a WVU undergraduate alum and antitrust attorney at Rule Garza Howley LLP, will speak with students about her path from a first-generation college student in West Virginia to practicing international antitrust law.
As the founder of Appalachian Firsts, Emily is passionate about helping first-generation students pursue ambitious academic and professional goals. Through mentorship, scholarships, and educational outreach, Appalachian Firsts works to expand opportunities for students across West Virginia.
